Menifee Valley Community Cupboard Thrift Shop

The Menifee Valley Community Cupboard Thrift Shop is a nonprofit organization located in Menifee, California. Its primary mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition for neighbors in need by providing emergency non-perishable food at no cost.

The Menifee Valley Community Cupboard provides food and nutrition to over 900 families in the community and partners with schools to provide food backpacks to students in need. The Thrift Shop sales support the operation costs associated with running both the Thrift Shop and the Cupboard.

The Thrift Shop features a wide range of items, including housewares, furniture, linens, clothing, decor, and everyday items for everyone in the family. It also has a room filled with hardcover and paperback books, and a new department called 'Eve's Closet' that features clothing for special occasions, career, wedding gowns, and vintage items.

The organization has a long history, dating back to 1996 when a group of civic and church volunteers met to address the concern of nutritional needs of students during the time they are 'off track'.
